BEHIND SUGR.SETUP

More about me, what I create, and the inspiration behind it all

Sugr.Setup started with a simple interest in creating a workspace that felt better to spend time in. Over the last few years, that idea has evolved alongside the office itself. What started as changing a few pieces on my desk gradually became an interest in design, technology, photography, plants, coffee, and the small details that can completely change how a room feels.

I don’t believe there’s one formula for creating the perfect workspace. What works for me may not work for someone else—and that’s really the point. A workspace should reflect the person using it, the things they enjoy, and the way they want to feel when they’re there. There’s no single version of the perfect workspace. The perfect workspace is the one that feels like you.

I hope to inspire you to create a space that feels uniquely like your own.

My office is heavily inspired by Japanese culture and natural elements, with an emphasis on warmth, balance, and creating an atmosphere that feels intentional and personal. Natural wood, plants, soft lighting, and carefully chosen details all play a part in creating a room that I genuinely enjoy spending time in. For me, the way a workspace feels is just as important as the way it looks. A great workspace has to do more than look good. I try to keep my office organized, clutter-free, and functional, with the things I use most within easy reach. Having the right tools in the right places helps me stay focused and productive while making the workday feel a little less stressful. Through Sugr.Setup, I hope to share what I’ve learned and inspire others to design a space of their own.
